This week, Cadillac released a teaser video featuring a 38-inch curved OLED screen that will be integrated into the 2021 Escalade SUV. Cadillac points out that the display will have twice the pixel density of a 4K television.

Other details were not revealed, but Cadillac plans to share more information during Oscars week on February 4.

Here is the teaser video:

While most infotainment systems take up a small space at the center of the dashboard, the teaser video looks like the screen is stretched across the front of the car. And Autoblog pointed out that the teaser suggests that semi-autonomous driving technology will be integrated into the vehicle as indicated by the green light on the steering wheel.

“From the highway to the big screen, the Escalade has been embraced by drivers and fans around the world,” said General Motors Senior Vice President and President of Cadillac Steve Carlisle. “We’re excited to introduce the 2021 Escalade during Oscars week in February.”

During the third quarter of 2019, Cadillac has sold more than 30,000 Escalades globally and leads the full-size luxury SUV segment’s U.S. retail market share at about 25%, according to JD Power’s PIN estimates.
