Venture firm 2150 said it has reached a final close on its second fund at €210 million, bringing the firm’s total assets under management to €500 million as it continues investing in technology companies aimed at reshaping cities and the industries that power them.

The new vehicle drew participation from a mix of financial institutions and family offices across Europe, Asia, and North America. Limited partners in the fund include Viessmann Generations Group, Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, Novo Holdings, Danish sovereign fund EIFO, Security Trading Oy, Islandbridge Capital, fund-of-funds Carbon Equity, and U.S.-based Church Pension Group.

Founded around the thesis that cities generate 80% of the world’s prosperity and that converging technologies can help make urbanization sustainable, 2150 said it has invested in 27 companies since raising its first fund in 2021. The firm said its portfolio companies now generate combined annual revenues of more than $1 billion, employ over 4,500 people globally, and report climate impacts measured at megatonne scale.

2150 said its strategy is underpinned by an analytical approach to identifying sustainability challenges in urban and industrial environments, with investments spanning areas including energy, cooling, lower-carbon cement, biodiversity monitoring, industrial heat, critical minerals, urban mobility, and the circular economy.

The firm said Fund II has already backed seven companies, including electrified industrial heat pump manufacturer AtmosZero, refurbished electronics marketplace GetMobil, metals recycling and trading platform Metycle, and direct air capture company Mission Zero Technologies, alongside three additional deals that have not yet been announced.

Fund I investments include pan-European home energy platform 1Komma5º, e-mobility leasing and battery-swapping network Vammo, and ultra-efficient cooling technology company Blue Frontier.

The fund is led by Jacob Bro, Christian Jolck, Rahul Parekh, and Christian Hernandez. 2150 said it now has 17 team members across London and Copenhagen.
