Healthcare organization 26Health has announced the acquisition of Optimal Integrative Care, a medical practice based in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of its strategy to expand integrated healthcare services across the Southeast.
Optimal Integrative Care is located at 3193 Howell Mill Road NW in the West Midtown and Buckhead area of Atlanta and specializes in infectious disease treatment, internal medicine, and primary care. The acquisition will strengthen access to these services for patients in the Atlanta region while broadening 26Health’s integrated care network.
The transaction reflects 26Health’s ongoing effort to expand patient-centered healthcare delivery by combining primary care, mental health services, and specialized treatment under a single coordinated model. By bringing Optimal Integrative Care into its network, 26Health aims to increase availability of infectious disease expertise and comprehensive medical services for patients in the area.
Following the acquisition, 26Health will assume full ownership and operational management of the practice. Despite the change in ownership, the clinic will continue operating under the Optimal Integrative Care name. Patients are expected to experience uninterrupted care, with no changes to scheduled appointments, medical records, or existing treatment plans.
Through integration with the 26Health system, the Atlanta practice will gain access to expanded clinical resources, additional healthcare services, and a broader provider network. At the same time, the organization plans to maintain the personalized, patient-first approach that has characterized Optimal Integrative Care’s operations.
26Health provides a range of healthcare services including primary care, mental health support, HIV prevention and treatment, women’s health services, and care coordination. The organization serves patients primarily from its flagship location in Orlando, Florida and continues to expand its footprint across the Southeast through new programs and strategic acquisitions.
