50T: $500 Million Growth Equity Fund Closed

10T Holdings and 1RoundTable Partners (1RT), two leading growth equity funds in the Digital Asset Ecosystem (DAE), have announced their merger, resulting in the creation of a new brand: 50T. This rebranding reflects their prediction that the global digital asset ecosystem will reach a value of $50 trillion within the next decade.

50T also announced the upcoming launch of the 50T Fund, a $500 million closed-end fund focused on growth equity, with its first closing expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The merger comes after a successful period for the firm and its portfolio companies. Notably, Deribit’s acquisition by Coinbase marked the largest M&A deal in crypto history. Additionally, the IPOs of Circle and eToro have been very successful; Circle’s stock skyrocketed by 168% on its NYSE debut, while eToro’s IPO was over 10 times oversubscribed on Nasdaq. Furthermore, 1RT Acquisition Corp., a SPAC focused on investing in digital assets and tech-enabled businesses, particularly in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and fintech, completed an oversubscribed IPO on Nasdaq, raising $172.5 million. With several portfolio companies preparing for public offerings, the firm is well-positioned to capitalize on the growth of the digital asset ecosystem.

As part of the rebranding, 50T has launched a new digital presence, which includes refreshed social media channels and a new website at 50Tfunds.com. The firm actively engages with its community through its official accounts on X and LinkedIn.

KEY QUOTE:

“50T is a natural evolution from our original thesis in 2020 when we launched 10T with the belief that the digital asset ecosystem would grow from $300 billion to $10 trillion in 10 years. Today, we estimate that we’re already at $5 trillion, far exceeding our initial timeline, which is why we’re adjusting our outlook upward. Recent successes like the Circle IPO and Deribit acquisition demonstrate the maturity of this sector and validate our investment thesis that all value will eventually move on-chain.”
