50T Funds has appointed George Jamgochian as Head of Capital Formation to lead institutional fundraising and investor relations for the digital asset investment firm.
Jamgochian brings more than 20 years of experience in capital introduction, business development and institutional investor relations.
He most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Capital Introduction at Clear Street, where he created and expanded the firm’s capital introduction program.
Jamgochian previously served as Director of Investor Relations at TIG Advisors, with responsibility for business development across the Americas.
Earlier in his career, he held capital introduction and investor relations positions at Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo Securities, Tipp Hill Capital Management and Credit Suisse.
At 50T Funds, Jamgochian will lead fundraising for Fund V, deepen relationships with institutional limited partners and expand the firm’s global investor base.
The appointment follows several liquidity events involving 50T portfolio companies, including Coinbase’s acquisition of Deribit and the public listings of Circle, eToro, Cipher Digital and Figure Technology Solutions.
Founded by CEO Dan Tapiero in 2021, 50T Funds invests in later-stage infrastructure companies supporting blockchain, cryptocurrency and Web3 markets.
The firm focuses on revenue-generating businesses rather than direct investments in digital tokens.
50T manages approximately $1.4 billion in assets and said it has returned more than $350 million to investors through five realizations.
