A-Street, a privately sponsored multi-stage investment fund focused on improving PK-12 student learning and achievement, announced a $675 million capital raise to expand its investments in companies delivering measurable student outcomes. The new funding brings the firm’s total investment platform to $1 billion, including $525 million in fund commitments and $475 million in strategic co-investment capacity.

The raise includes participation from members of the Walton family, early backers of A-Street, as well as new support from the LEGO Foundation, which is making impact investments alongside its traditional grantmaking efforts. The capital will be used to deepen partnerships with founders and accelerate the reach of proven education solutions to more students and families.

Founded in 2021, A-Street focuses on bridging the gap between educational innovation and measurable student outcomes. Its portfolio targets key challenges across PK-12 education, including student engagement, instructional quality, and academic achievement.

The new funding is expected to expand A-Street’s investment activity, enhance hands-on support for portfolio companies, and further align capital deployment with research-backed learning approaches. The partnership with the LEGO Foundation also represents the foundation’s first large-scale impact investment collaboration through its investment arm, signaling a broader push to scale effective learning solutions globally.
