A1R water Goes Public With $96 Million PIPE To Scale Atmospheric Water Brand Across $12.5 Billion Market

A1R water has completed its business combination with Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. III, taking the atmospheric water generation company public with a $96 million PIPE as it prepares to scale production and retail distribution. The combined company begins trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol WATR on August 17, 2026.

The transaction closed on August 14 following shareholder approval at an Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. III special meeting on July 29.

A1R water develops technology that produces drinking water from humidity in the air, with the company seeking to build atmospheric water generation into a broader packaged consumer products category.

The $96 million PIPE is fully committed and was anchored by Inflection Point, existing A1R water investors, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and several institutional investors.

A1R water plans to use the capital to expand commercial-scale water production, increase retail distribution and support the broader commercialization of its atmospheric water technology.

The company sees a potential $12.5 billion opportunity in the air-to-water market.

A1R water’s approach combines atmospheric water generation, filtration, mineralization and plastic-free packaging at the point of production.

Rather than relying exclusively on traditional groundwater or municipal water sources, the company’s systems extract moisture directly from ambient air and convert it into drinking water.

A1R water is attempting to pair that technology with a consumer packaged goods strategy rather than positioning atmospheric water generation solely as an industrial infrastructure technology.

The company has already launched its packaged water products in South Florida.

Its products are available through sports and hospitality partnerships that include the Miami HEAT’s Kaseya Center and Inter Miami CF’s NU Stadium at Miami Freedom Park.

A1R water is also expanding distribution through South Florida retail and on-premise accounts.

The company plans to broaden that footprint across the Southeast over the coming months.

Southern Glazer’s involvement as both an investor and distribution partner could become an important component of that commercialization strategy.

Management believes the combination of proprietary water-generation technology and established beverage distribution capabilities can help the company build atmospheric water into a recognizable consumer category.

A1R water’s technology extends beyond packaged beverages.

The company designs and manufactures air-to-water systems spanning smaller consumer products through industrial-scale equipment capable of supporting utility-scale water farms.

It also operates production and bottling facilities that convert atmospheric water into finished packaged products.

The company’s commercial relationships include Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Inter Miami CF and the Miami HEAT.

The Nasdaq listing is intended to provide additional capital and visibility as A1R water moves from its initial South Florida rollout toward a broader commercial expansion.

Inflection Point brings previous experience taking technology companies public through SPAC transactions.

Its prior transactions include Intuitive Machines, USA Rare Earth and Merlin, while other announced transactions involve GOWell Energy, Quantum Space and Elroy Air.

For A1R water, the public-market transaction creates a funding platform for scaling manufacturing and distribution while attempting to establish atmospheric water as a differentiated segment of the premium packaged water market.
