How did the idea for the company come together? Zukerman shared:

“Stemming from the largest retail technology deal in Israel with Yochananof, this evolution allows Cust2Mate to sell advertising space, integrate data, and offer access to its smart-cart platform for additional services to consumer goods manufacturers, advertisers, content service providers, application developers, and more. The addition of this revenue and delivery model advances Cust2Mate towards a leadership role in next-generation retail innovation.”

Significant Milestones

What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Zukerman cited:

“One of Cust2Mate’s most significant milestones this year is its landmark retail technology deal with Yochananof, one of Israel’s leading supermarket chains. In this agreement, Cust2Mate secured a $55 million purchase order for the deployment of 5,000 Cust2Mate 3.0 smart shopping carts across Yochananof’s 50-store network. This deal, which includes an upfront payment and monthly charges per cart over at least 60 months, also features a data, retail media, and digital services agreement between the two companies.”

“The deployment represents a major step in smart cart adoption, with up to 250 carts allocated to larger stores and 100 units to medium-sized stores. The rollout has already begun and will continue on a monthly cadence, with completion expected by the end of next year. This deal is considered one of the largest retail technology transactions in Israel, highlighting Cust2Mates’ leadership in smart retail solutions.”

Can you share any specific customer success stories? Zukerman highlighted:

“Another standout success happened in a large Latin American rollout, where we secured a major order for 3,000 of our smart-cart units under a 36-month subscription model—transitioning from proof-of-concept to large-scale commercial operation. This shift validated how our platform moves from pilot to full-scale deployment, and how the model creates sustainable value for both retailer and us.”

Are you able to discuss funding and/or revenue metrics? Zukerman revealed:

“Yes, in the fall this year, A2Z Cust2Mate Solutions Corp. completed a $45 million equity financing round at $8.00 per share, which was oversubscribed due to strong demand from our top-tier investors. The offering was anchored by some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, including Wellington Management, alongside a leading global long-only investment manager, a premier alternative asset manager, and continued support from our largest existing shareholders. The funds raised during that round are being used for the company’s continued development and expansion, including financing the mass manufacturing and deployment of smart carts, marketing and sales, expanding our retail media and data capabilities, and working capital purposes. The investment also fast-tracked our retail media deployment, expanding advanced data insights capabilities for near-term monetization, and supporting the recruitment of top-tier talent to drive international growth and innovation.”
