A47: $2 Million Pre-Seed Funding Raised To Build AI-Native News Platform

A47 has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development of an AI-native news platform that helps audiences discover, understand, and trust information amid a growing flood of misinformation, fragmented feeds, and engagement-driven noise.

Based in Dubai, the company said the platform is being built to prioritize clarity, accuracy, and relevance, delivering continuously updated, structured intelligence across business, geopolitics, technology, finance, sports, and culture. Users will be able to personalize topics, depth, formats, and alerts, allowing the experience to adapt to different consumption styles—from real-time updates to deeper context, summaries, and comparative perspectives.

A47 said its system combines autonomous AI agents, real-time data ingestion, multi-model orchestration, and embedded verification tools to source, analyze, validate, and present news. The platform is designed to incorporate built-in fact-checking, source triangulation, and transparency layers to strengthen trust while reducing the time and effort required to stay informed.

The company outlined a workflow that begins with monitoring social platforms every 30 minutes to identify trending stories, then verifying those stories through major trusted outlets and a curated whitelist. A47 said it will hold back news it cannot confirm, and will generate a “Verified Foundation Brief” that includes key facts, timelines, background, and source links. From there, users can select formats and style preferences, with the platform suggesting multiple editorial angles, building a storyboard, and generating multi-format outputs such as text, images, video, and audio. A human approval step is required before publishing, according to the company.

In addition to supporting its own news experience, A47 said the platform is built for digital publishers and independent creators who want to increase publishing frequency without weakening sourcing or losing their voice. The company said users can upload a style guide or complete a short questionnaire to create a reusable “Brand DNA” profile.

A47 said the $2 million pre-seed round included institutional and angel investors. Gargash will serve as Chairman of the Board, and the proceeds will be used to improve the product and support expansion across the Middle East and international markets. The company said A47 News is available to pilot customers in the UAE.
