Abry Private Debt Acquires $330 Million Private Credit Portfolio In Partnership With Coller Capital

Abry Private Debt, the private credit strategy of Abry Partners, has announced the closing of its acquisition of a $330 million diversified private credit portfolio, completed in partnership with Coller Capital, a leading secondaries platform. The portfolio is highly diversified, consisting primarily of first-lien, senior-secured loans across commercial and professional services, healthcare, and consumer discretionary, with all underlying investments backed by established private equity sponsors. Abry will assume an active management role, working directly with sponsors, lenders, and management teams throughout its hold period.

The transaction reflects the maturing credit secondaries market, where investors and managers increasingly use secondary solutions as part of long-term portfolio management. The deal builds on Abry’s track record in credit secondaries, including its 2024 Advanced Securities Fund III Continuation Vehicle, which at $1.6 billion was the largest GP-led credit secondary transaction at the time and helped catalyze broader institutional adoption of the strategy. That transaction was also completed with Coller Capital’s backing.

Abry Partners is one of the most experienced sector-focused private equity and credit investment firms in North America and Europe. Since its founding in 1989, the firm has completed over $90 billion of leveraged transactions and other private equity or preferred equity placements, and currently manages $16 billion of assets across several fund strategies. Abry Private Debt invests across the capital structure through sponsored and non-sponsored direct lending, structured capital solutions and secondary portfolio acquisitions.

Coller Capital, founded in 1990, manages $54 billion in private equity, private credit and other private market vehicles and has exclusively focused on secondary investing since inception. The firm maintains headquarters in London with offices across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
