Abundant Venture Partners has announced a significant expansion of its national healthcare innovation platform with the addition of several leading health systems to the Abundant Alliance, bringing total membership to 22 provider organizations. The firm also unveiled a new pediatric cohort that unites top pediatric and family care institutions to co-develop innovations addressing the specialized needs of children’s healthcare.

New members joining the Abundant Alliance include Endeavor Health, Henry Ford Health, Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Nemours Children’s Health, Northwestern Medicine, and Rush Health. The addition of these systems strengthens Abundant’s mission to build sustainable, high-value healthcare companies that benefit both providers and families.

The Abundant Platform, launched six months ago, integrates venture development, provider collaboration, and early-stage funding to accelerate the commercialization of healthcare innovations.

Through the Abundant Venture Studio, promising startups gain support for pilot programs, market adoption, and scale via Abundant’s network of aligned health system partners. Earlier this year, the platform launched Auxira, a virtual cardiology company, in collaboration with MedStar Health.

Abundant’s new pediatric cohort represents a significant step in the firm’s vision of transforming healthcare delivery through partnership-driven innovation. The initiative will focus on solutions that enhance care quality, improve hospital operations, and optimize patient and family experiences within pediatric systems.

Alliance members serve as co-developers, early adopters, and owners of the ventures that emerge from the Abundant Platform, ensuring that solutions are deeply aligned with real-world clinical needs. Abundant plans to bring on up to eight additional healthcare organizations and is currently reviewing early-stage companies and entrepreneurs whose innovations can offer sustainable, high-impact outcomes for hospitals and health systems nationwide.

Since its founding in 2011, Abundant Venture Partners has developed a collaborative model that aligns healthcare providers, investors, and entrepreneurs to accelerate innovation while reducing cost and time to market.

The firm’s ecosystem now channels over $80 billion in healthcare provider purchasing power toward building solutions that improve access, efficiency, and outcomes. So far, Abundant has made 36 investments and founded 19 companies, demonstrating its ability to identify and scale ventures that create measurable value for the healthcare system.
