Abwaab has acquired Eduact, an Egyptian teacher-focused SaaS and blended-learning platform, expanding its education technology footprint across the Middle East and North Africa.
Abwaab currently operates across six MENA markets and described the transaction as part of a strategy of partnering with complementary teams rather than developing every capability internally.
Eduact provides independent teachers and smaller learning centers with technology to manage video content, grading, payments and workflows spanning offline and online education.
Abwaab plans to combine Eduact’s relationships with teachers and learning centers in Egypt with its own technology and regional distribution platform.
The strategy is intended to make digital tools available to teachers and students beyond major cities, including communities in smaller towns and villages.
Abwaab’s broader platform combines teacher-led learning, AI-powered assessment technology and university admissions support and serves millions of students, teachers and institutions across the region.
