ACA Group, a governance, risk, and compliance advisor focused on the financial services sector, announced it has acquired FX Transparency, a provider of foreign exchange transaction cost analysis and best execution analytics.
The acquisition builds on ACA’s earlier expansion into transaction cost analysis following its 2025 purchase of Global Trading Analytics, which established the firm’s capabilities across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange. By integrating FX Transparency, ACA aims to strengthen its analytics offering in the global foreign exchange market, one of the largest and most liquid asset classes but also one that can lack transparency for institutional investors.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, FX Transparency delivers independent analytics that evaluate execution quality and trading costs for institutional investors. The company works with asset managers, pension funds, endowments, mutual funds, insurance companies, and corporations, providing data-driven insights that help organizations assess trading performance and meet fiduciary obligations.
The firm leverages proprietary analytics and a broad dataset of institutional trading activity to help clients evaluate liquidity sourcing, execution strategies, and counterparty performance. The platform is designed to help organizations optimize execution approaches while demonstrating compliance with regulatory expectations around best execution in foreign exchange markets.
According to ACA, the transaction enhances its ability to deliver cross-asset transaction cost analysis capabilities as regulatory scrutiny and trading complexity increase across global markets.
