Accenture and Google Cloud announced the formation of the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group, a new joint initiative designed to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to large-scale deployment of Gemini Enterprise and agentic AI technologies.
The new group is part of the broader Accenture Google Business Group and represents a significant joint investment by the companies. It will bring together Gemini Enterprise-certified professionals, forward deployed engineers, specialized Google Cloud engineering talent, and Accenture’s industry and functional expertise.
The initiative is designed to support customers at different stages of their AI and data journeys, ranging from smaller business-unit deployments to enterprise-wide transformation programs.
Accenture currently has nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals. As part of the new business group, the company plans to expand Gemini Enterprise training and certification while establishing a 1,000-person forward deployed engineering workforce.
The group will focus on accelerating adoption of Gemini Enterprise through proprietary implementation frameworks and accelerators, developing repeatable industry-specific solutions, creating dedicated capability centers, and helping organizations drive adoption of AI capabilities across their workforces.
Accenture and Google Cloud said the new structure is intended to reduce the gap between experimental AI projects and production-grade enterprise deployments that can generate measurable business value.
The companies pointed to their work with YouTube as one example of the approach. YouTube partnered with Accenture and Google Cloud to deploy a Gemini Enterprise agent during periods of peak NFL Sunday Ticket demand.
According to the companies, the deployment increased customer sentiment by 11% while reducing average handle time by 37%.
The new business group builds on several existing initiatives between Accenture and Google Cloud, including their Generative and Agentic AI Center of Excellence and the Gemini Enterprise Acceleration Program.
Accenture was also named Google Cloud’s 2026 Global Services Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. The company was additionally recognized as Global Partner of the Year for Artificial Intelligence: Sales & Services and Global Public Sector.
The partnership comes as enterprises increasingly look for ways to move agentic AI systems into production while integrating them with existing data, cloud infrastructure, business processes, and enterprise applications.
Accenture and Google Cloud are positioning the new organization as a way to combine Google Cloud’s AI technology stack with Accenture’s implementation scale, industry knowledge, and enterprise transformation capabilities.
