Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Netherlands-based SAP consultancy with more than 380 specialized professionals, strengthening the SAP modernization and AI capabilities of Accenture Edge across Europe’s mid-market.
Founded in 2012, McCoy is headquartered in the Netherlands and also operates offices in Spain and the Philippines.
The company designs, implements, and manages SAP systems spanning enterprise resource planning, data, business solutions, managed services, and enterprise integration.
McCoy is an SAP Gold Partner and serves mid-market customers across industries including high-tech, manufacturing, the public sector, utilities and retail.
The acquisition will expand Accenture Edge’s position in the EMEA mid-market while adding SAP expertise in the Netherlands.
McCoy will also contribute to Accenture offerings such as Advance, the company’s joint initiative with SAP focused on packaged services for mid-sized organizations.
Accenture plans to combine McCoy’s SAP capabilities with its broader AI and technology platform to help customers modernize core business systems and embed artificial intelligence into business processes.
McCoy will bring proprietary accelerators including SmartERP, Smart Extensions, Smart Re-use and McCoy Integration Studio.
Those products are designed to standardize implementation work, reduce complexity and accelerate SAP transformation projects.
The transaction will also add more than 380 professionals to Accenture Edge.
Accenture Edge focuses on mid-market businesses with annual revenue between approximately $300 million and $3 billion.
The platform combines Accenture’s enterprise technology capabilities with pre-built and right-sized solutions intended to help mid-market companies modernize systems, implement AI, strengthen cybersecurity and simplify operations.
The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
