Accurate Appoints Meri Gulyan As Senior Vice President Of Global Marketing

Accurate has appointed Meri Gulyan as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, placing the marketing executive in charge of the company’s worldwide marketing organization and strategy as the background screening provider continues to expand its technology, customer base, and international operations.

Gulyan will report to Chief Operating and Growth Officer Rashid Ismail and will focus on strengthening Accurate’s brand, expanding its market presence, and improving alignment among its marketing, sales, and product organizations.

She brings more than 15 years of marketing leadership experience, spanning product marketing, go-to-market strategy, demand generation, brand development, and digital growth.

Most recently, Gulyan served as Vice President of Marketing for the Legal division of Internet Brands.

Before that, she spent five years at TriNet, the human resources services provider, where she held senior marketing leadership roles.

At Accurate, Gulyan will be responsible for developing marketing programs that support the company’s broader growth strategy while helping customers better understand its screening and monitoring capabilities.

Her appointment comes as Accurate continues investing in its technology, workforce, and global operations.

The company provides background checks and monitoring services used by employers and other organizations to support hiring and workforce decisions.

Accurate currently supports more than 16,000 customers and conducts more than 60 million searches annually across over 200 countries and territories.

That scale creates a wide range of marketing requirements across industries, geographic markets, enterprise customers, and different stages of the hiring and screening process.

Gulyan’s responsibilities will include creating tighter coordination among product development, sales execution, customer needs, and the messaging Accurate uses to communicate its capabilities.

The company said marketing will play an important role in its continued growth as Accurate seeks to deepen existing customer relationships and reach additional organizations.

Accurate has nearly three decades of experience in the background screening industry and has increasingly combined that operational history with enterprise technology supporting high-volume screening programs.

Gulyan said she plans to build on those existing strengths while elevating the company’s global brand.

The appointment also reflects Accurate’s effort to bring marketing more closely into its broader go-to-market operation rather than treating the function primarily as brand communications.

By coordinating marketing with sales and product organizations, the company aims to improve how new products and capabilities are introduced to customers and how market feedback influences positioning and growth initiatives.
