Achmea Investment Management has launched the Achmea IM PE Partnership Fund – Healthy People & Planet 2025, designed to provide Dutch pension funds and institutional investors with cost-effective access to private equity investments focused on individual and societal health.
The fund targets four key impact themes: climate, biodiversity, healthy nutrition, and good health, investing in companies that positively contribute to these areas while maintaining attractive risk/return profiles. Neuberger Berman Private Markets has been appointed as the investment partner.
With a target size of €250 million, this closed-end fund is expected to have a lifespan of ten to twelve years and will focus on co-investments in the buy-out and growth segments of private equity. Several pension funds have committed €225 million for the fund’s first closing, with initial investments expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
