Adams Outdoor Advertising Expands Michigan Presence With Key Locations Outdoor Acquisition

By Amit Chowdhry • Jun 9, 2026

Adams Outdoor Advertising announced it has acquired 20 static billboard faces from Key Locations Outdoor, expanding its footprint across West Michigan and Northern Indiana while marking the company’s first entry into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The acquisition follows Adams Outdoor Advertising’s March 2026 purchase of 118 static bulletins and three digital billboard faces from Bullfrog Outdoor. That transaction expanded the company’s reach into Northern Indiana markets including Fort Wayne, South Bend, Elkhart, Goshen, Warsaw, and Michigan City. Together, the acquisitions support the company’s tuck-in growth strategy by increasing market density, strengthening regional connectivity, and creating additional opportunities for advertisers to reach consumers throughout the Midwest.

The newly acquired Key Locations Outdoor assets include billboard locations along Interstate 69 and U.S. Highway 131, two major transportation corridors that connect population centers, commercial districts, and distribution routes across southern Michigan and Northern Indiana. The portfolio also includes a billboard along U.S. Highway 2 in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, providing exposure to travelers moving between Wisconsin and the Mackinac Bridge.

According to the company, the locations offer access to a broad audience that includes daily commuters, commercial trucking traffic, and seasonal tourists. The routes benefit from high traffic volumes, extended viewing opportunities, and limited competing media channels.

Adams Outdoor Advertising currently operates more than 2,500 billboard faces throughout Michigan, making it one of the state’s largest billboard networks. The expanded portfolio increases the company’s coverage across major highways, commuter corridors, and retail destinations while reinforcing its position in the Midwest out-of-home advertising market.
