Addleshaw Goddard has announced the appointment of Jérémie Paubel as a partner in its Paris office, where he will lead the firm’s employment team, marking a further expansion of its capabilities in France and across its international employment practice.

Paubel joins from Baker McKenzie, where he spent more than 15 years advising multinational companies and international groups. With over two decades of experience, he brings deep expertise across a wide range of sectors, particularly financial services and pharmaceuticals, and has significant experience supporting complex European and global projects.

His practice focuses on standalone employment matters, including reorganizations and collective redundancies, as well as advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions. In addition to his client work, Paubel is active in the legal community through teaching and speaking engagements.

He will be joined by associate Adrien Leberon and will work alongside the existing Paris employment team, forming the foundation of an expanding practice. The hire coincides with the fifth anniversary of the firm’s Paris office and reflects continued investment in one of Europe’s key legal markets.

The move is part of a broader expansion strategy for Addleshaw Goddard’s employment practice, which has seen recent partner hires across the UK and Europe, including in Leeds, Aberdeen, and Glasgow, as well as the launch of its Warsaw office in 2025.
