Addtech announced that its business area Addtech Electrification has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Nijhuis Engineering B.V.
Based in Dronten, Netherlands, Nijhuis develops and supplies patented system solutions for road and rail construction machinery. Its offerings include safety systems, load handling solutions, and electrical conversion systems, which are sold under the company’s own brand primarily to European retailers and end users within the railway segment.
Nijhuis employs 23 people and generates annual turnover of approximately 6 million euros. Following the acquisition, the company will become part of Addtech’s Mobility business unit, where it is expected to complement the group’s existing operations.
The transaction closed on May 19, 2026. Addtech said the acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on its earnings per share during the current financial year.
