At the Adobe Summit this week, Adobe announced how it is continuing to execute its vision and strategy to empower companies of all sizes with the capabilities to make every brand interaction personal and experiences shoppable through the integration of Magento into Adobe’s Experience Cloud product. Adobe acquired Magento for $1.68 billion last year and the technology has been used to launch the new Commerce Cloud.

As digital commerce is emerging as the preferred channel for businesses across industries ranging from fashion to consumer goods to education to healthcare to manufacturing, one of the biggest challenges is owning the digital customer journey in an increasingly fragmented and changing world. When real-time insights to optimize every step of a customer’s journey is applied, companies are able to optimize and run their businesses based on how customer experiences evolve.

“To help companies harness this incredible opportunity, we’re excited to announce the availability of Adobe Commerce Cloud. Now a core part of Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Commerce Cloud (built on Magento Commerce) deeply integrates with Adobe Analytics Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud and Adobe Advertising Cloud,” said Adobe’s VP of its commerce product and platform Jason Woosley. “Tailored to the needs of global B2C and B2B companies to support multiple brands, sites and countries and to orchestrate commerce across every channel, Adobe Commerce Cloud provides a highly customizable and scalable end-to-end platform to manage, personalize and optimize the commerce experience across every touchpoint.”

With Commerce Cloud, enterprises are able to take advantage of a fully managed cloud service, an analytics foundation with commerce dashboards, the ability to create superior omnichannel experiences, the ability to optimize commerce processes on Amazon, and unparalleled agility and flexibility. And Magento Commerce Pro is a product that is available under Adobe Commerce Cloud, which is aimed at brands looking to deliver differentiated commerce experiences and reach new markets on an aggressive timeline.

All of the Magento extensions will continue working on the Adobe Commerce Cloud. There are about 350,000 developers that participate in Magento’s ecosystem along with thousands of partners, according to TechCrunch.
