Advent International has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PatientPoint, the largest digital point-of-care network in the U.S., from an investor group led by L Catterton and Littlejohn. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With over 35 years of experience, PatientPoint connects patients, providers, and health brands through a network of 30,000 physician offices and 125,000 providers, delivering educational content and diagnostic tools that promote health awareness and behavior change.
PatientPoint will continue to be managed by its existing team, supported by Advent’s advisors with expertise in healthcare and digital solutions.
This acquisition reflects Advent’s confidence in the growing point-of-care market, as promotional spending shifts toward digital channels. This investment adds to Advent’s portfolio of healthcare and technology companies, which includes Simtra BioPharma Solutions, Iodine (Waystar), and others.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
Advisors: Jefferies and Citi served as financial advisors and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher served as legal advisor to PatientPoint. Solomon Partners served as financial advisor and Ropes & Gray LLP served as legal advisor to Advent.
