AE Industrial Partners, a private investment firm specializing in sectors vital to national and economic security, has announced the appointment of two new Vice Presidents, Chris Aguemon and Bill Strobel, to its Washington, D.C. office. The hires mark a continued expansion of AE Industrial’s national security investment team as the firm deepens its presence in defense and technology markets.
Chris Aguemon joins AE Industrial from Arlington Capital Partners, where he played a key role in acquisitions across the national security and defense sectors. Before entering private equity, Aguemon served eight years in the United States Army, including deployment to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility as an officer in the Army Reserve. He earned his bachelor’s degree in government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bill Strobel arrives from Liberty Strategic Capital, where he led investments in national security and financial services. A former United States Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer, Strobel served for seven years before transitioning to finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
The firm’s latest additions reflect AE Industrial’s ongoing commitment to identifying and developing leaders with both technical and military backgrounds to guide its strategic investments in critical national security technologies and services.
