Global infrastructure leader AECOM announced it has acquired Scotland-based Allen Gordon, a leading technical design and advisory service provider to the U.K. & Ireland (UK&I) water and energy sectors. Adding the Allen Gordon team enhances AECOM’s positioning ahead of substantial expected investment totaling over £250 billion over the next decade in the water and energy markets across the region.
Founded in 1971, the Allen Gordon team has multi-decade relationships with the region’s largest and most critical growth clients, including leading water utilities and renewable energy clients. By adding the Allen Gordon team, the UK&I Water and Energy teams are even better positioned to strengthen their offering with their existing client base.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
