AerCap Appoints Doug Parker To Board And Reappoints Three Non-Executive Directors

AerCap Holdings N.V., a global aviation leasing company, announced that shareholders approved the appointment of Doug Parker as a non-executive director at its Annual General Meeting held on April 15, 2026. The company also confirmed the re-appointment of three non-executive directors, Stacey Cartwright, Rita Forst, and Robert (Bob) Warden.

Parker brings more than 35 years of aviation industry experience to the board, including his tenure as American Airlines’ chief executive officer. His appointment is expected to strengthen AerCap’s leadership with additional operational and strategic expertise in the global aviation sector.

At the same meeting, Julian (Brad) Branch retired from the board following eight years of service, marking a transition in AerCap’s governance as it continues to evolve its leadership structure.

AerCap serves approximately 300 customers worldwide and maintains one of the industry’s largest and most diversified aircraft leasing portfolios. The company continues to focus on providing comprehensive fleet solutions across global markets while maintaining strong governance and board oversight.
