AEVEX has secured $20.5 million in new awards from U.S. government customers to deliver and further develop one-way attack, or OWA, systems and related autonomous capabilities.
The new awards cover the delivery of OWA systems as well as engineering, development and integration work intended to advance future capabilities. The resulting systems are expected to be used in both operational and training environments to support readiness and mission preparation.
AEVEX develops autonomous unmanned systems, AI-enabled mission software, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies, and electronic warfare solutions for national security customers.
Its autonomous systems portfolio and modular deployment architecture are designed for evolving requirements across air and maritime domains. The company maintains a scalable U.S. manufacturing footprint and vertically integrated development capabilities supporting rapid production, adaptation and fielding for U.S. and allied forces.
AEVEX is continuing to invest in advanced manufacturing capacity, autonomy technologies and customer-driven engineering as demand grows from U.S. defense customers and international partners.
