Affinia has added Wilson Partners to its integrated accounting and advisory platform, strengthening the RedBird Capital Partners-backed company’s position among the U.K.’s 20 largest accounting firms.
Wilson Partners is a financial advisory and accounting company serving small and mid-sized businesses, private individuals, and private equity investors.
The combination adds sector expertise and specialist advisory capabilities to Affinia, including services for international ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Affinia plans to continue investing in employees, client services, tax and business advisory capabilities, and common technology infrastructure.
The group will also work with RedBird X, RedBird’s proprietary AI platform, to implement AI tools intended to improve internal operations and customer experiences.
The enlarged Affinia organization operates 33 offices, employs approximately 1,600 people, serves more than 25,000 clients, and generates annual revenue exceeding £160 million.
Wilson Partners was founded in 2008 and has completed 11 acquisitions since receiving growth investment in 2021. Its revenue has increased more than tenfold over that period.
Affinia’s broader strategy is to create an integrated national accounting organization with common leadership, technology, culture, and client experience rather than operating as a loose collection of acquired practices.
