Agereh Technologies has appointed board member Michael Plotnikoff as Chief Executive Officer as the intelligent infrastructure company realigns its leadership around commercial growth and product development.
Kenneth Brizel, who had been serving as CEO, has transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer and will focus full-time on Agereh’s core technology roadmap and product engineering.
The company said the leadership transition is intended to support its next phase of product innovation and market expansion.
Plotnikoff brings more than 30 years of technology and telecommunications experience.
He previously founded and served as CEO of Lite Access Technologies and has held positions ranging from systems engineering at Northern Telecom to technical sales leadership roles at BCTel/TELUS and Sprint Canada.
His experience also spans capital markets, engineering, sales and management of technical and commercial organizations.
The new leadership structure separates commercial and organizational strategy from day-to-day technology development.
Plotnikoff will focus on expanding Agereh’s market footprint, while Brizel will concentrate on the product and engineering side of the business.
Agereh develops intelligent infrastructure technology providing real-time operational information across airports, logistics networks and other critical infrastructure.
Its technology combines data collection, predictive intelligence and data-driven decision-making for transportation and infrastructure applications. The company’s products are patent-pending and manufactured in North America.
