Agon is developing technology for what it describes as the era of agentic warfare, in which autonomous systems work together to perceive their surroundings, make decisions, and execute actions across multiple domains.
The company’s planned infrastructure is intended to support autonomous operations across land, sea, air, space, and cyber environments.
Agon believes Europe requires sovereign technology infrastructure to develop and control advanced defense AI rather than relying primarily on systems created outside the region.
The company’s leadership team includes professionals with experience at Anduril, Applied Intuition, Amazon Web Services, Cambridge Aerospace, Google, Helsing, Palantir, and Unity.
Agon takes its name from the ancient Greek word associated with conflict, struggle, and competition.
The company did not provide additional details about its initial products, customers, headquarters, or deployment timeline in the launch announcement.
