By Amit Chowdhry ● Mar 21, 2024

Agrovision, a leading technology-enabled superfruit platform (known for its premium berries sold under The Fruitist and Big Skye brands), announced a growth capital investment led by Aliment Capital. With a focus on key strategic initiatives, Aliment will provide additional capital and expertise to help take Agrovision to its next level of growth.

The funding will fuel the company’s global expansion and product development. Its year-round product offering of premium berries is distinguished by its access to optimal micro-climates, proprietary genetics, and advanced data analytics. Its Fruitist and Big Skye brands are set to capture a growing share of the healthy snacking market, which is expected to reach $10 billion by 2030.

In less than a decade, Agrovision has become a prominent global leader in the production of premium blueberries. Their Jumbo Blueberries are particularly noteworthy for their exceptional crunch and flavor and are beloved by families. The company is now diversifying into premium raspberries, offering a fresher and longer-lasting berry, and is also rapidly expanding into blackberries and cherries. Agrovision is committed to investing heavily in new genetics, AI, and other proprietary technology to deliver an even better eating experience with greater efficiency and productivity.

J.P. Morgan and UBS Investment Bank served as placement agents for Agrovision in the transaction.
