AIIR Intelligent HVAC has announced a strategic partnership with Copeland, a global leader in compression technologies and controls solutions, to integrate Copeland’s Verdant VX4 thermostat directly into all AIIR products. The collaboration creates what the companies describe as a next-generation HVAC experience designed to simplify installation, accelerate project approvals, and improve energy performance across hospitality and multifamily properties.
Under the partnership, AIIR products will ship with a custom-configured version of the Verdant VX4 thermostat engineered specifically for AIIR systems, serving as the exclusive user interface for AIIR’s classic controls mode. The thermostat is also accessible through the AIIR User App, allowing residents to adjust temperature, humidity, and airflow remotely. Copeland’s Verdant platform is already deployed across more than 11,000 properties and trusted by hospitality operators, giving AIIR a familiar and widely accepted control interface that simplifies brand-standard compliance and enables faster specification approvals for developers and property owners.
The combined solution pairs AIIR’s onboard AI and machine learning capabilities with Verdant’s energy management system and building management system integrations to enable predictive comfort optimization. The VX4 thermostat platform has demonstrated HVAC energy savings of 15 to 20% in existing hospitality and multifamily deployments. The thermostat supports both wired and wireless installation options and can be deployed in approximately 10 minutes, reducing installation complexity for both new construction and retrofit environments. The integrated solution also aligns with evolving energy mandates including California Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards and New York City Local Law 97.
