AIM MRO Holdings, a provider of highly engineered consumable repair products used primarily in the aerospace aftermarket, announced that it has acquired Advanced Air West Palm Beach, Inc., known as AA Bushings. The acquisition expands AIM MRO’s customer base and adds manufacturing capacity, including a state-of-the-art facility focused on landing gear components.

AA Bushings specializes in replacement bushings, sleeves, and fasteners used in landing gear applications across the aerospace and defense aftermarket. Founded in 1985, the company manufactures landing gear overhaul bushings and related parts for a broad range of commercial and military aircraft platforms currently in service.

With the transaction, AIM MRO is adding landing gear components as a new product category within its portfolio of engineered consumable products. The deal also strengthens the company’s ability to support aircraft maintenance and repair operations through expanded manufacturing capabilities and cross-selling opportunities.

AA Bushings is led by General Manager Marty Hatcher, who will remain with the business following the acquisition.

The transaction represents AIM MRO’s fourth add-on acquisition. It follows earlier purchases in engineered surface coatings solutions and the acquisition of Gerard Poly Mouldings, which designs and manufactures masking products for aerospace and gas turbine engines.

AIM MRO is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, LP, a private investment firm focused on national security, aerospace, and industrial services markets.
