AirHub: €4.4 Million Series A Fuels Expansion Of Drone Operations Software For Security And Defense

By Amit Chowdhry • Apr 12, 2026

AirHub announced the closing of a €4.4 million Series A funding round to scale its platform for managing drone operations across security, defense, and critical infrastructure environments. The round was backed by Keen Venture Partners, Runway FBU, Lumaux, and LUMO Labs, supporting AirHub’s mission to build Europe’s software backbone for mission-critical drone deployments.

AirHub develops software that enables organizations to plan, execute, and manage drone missions through a centralized platform. Its core product, the AirHub Drone Operations Center, allows teams to coordinate missions, monitor live video feeds, manage compliance workflows, and oversee operations in real time, helping integrate drones into everyday operational processes rather than treating them as standalone tools.

The company is targeting the growing demand for drone-enabled operations across sectors such as defense, law enforcement, border protection, and infrastructure security. As drones become increasingly embedded in these environments, organizations are seeking software solutions that can support secure, scalable, and coordinated deployments.

AirHub has already established traction with a range of global customers, including Dubai Police, Belgian Federal Police, Securitas, Shell, and ProRail. These organizations use the platform for applications such as incident response, infrastructure inspection, and security monitoring.

The new funding will be used to expand AirHub’s international team, enhance its core platform, and launch two additional products. MilHub will focus on defense-related operational environments, while SecHub will address broader security use cases, including counter-drone capabilities.

AirHub is positioning itself at the intersection of defense technology, security operations, and infrastructure resilience, as European organizations increasingly prioritize sovereign, secure technology solutions for mission-critical drone operations.

KEY QUOTES:

“This funding helps us accelerate AirHub’s growth as a European software company serving organizations that operate in high-stakes environments. We see a clear need for trusted software that helps teams execute drone missions securely, effectively and at scale, while strengthening Europe’s ability to rely on its own technology in critical operations.”

Thomas Brinkman, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of AirHub

“The organizations we work with are dealing with real incidents, real threats, real pressure. They need software that works when it matters most. That is what drives everything we build.”
