Airties announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aprecomm, an AI-driven broadband connectivity software company, to strengthen its Connectivity Experience Management platform and expand its presence in high-growth broadband markets, including India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, South America, and other developing regions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Bengaluru, India, Aprecomm develops AI-powered, self-healing Wi-Fi and broadband network software that helps internet service providers (ISPs) improve network performance, reduce operational costs, and increase customer satisfaction through real-time insights and automated optimization. The company currently manages connectivity across more than 7 million homes and business locations and serves over 50 ISPs worldwide.
Following the closing of the transaction, Aprecomm will continue operating as a subsidiary of Airties while maintaining its existing customer relationships and tailored solutions for regional markets.
The acquisition significantly expands Airties’ geographic footprint in fast-growing broadband markets while combining complementary product portfolios and AI expertise. Aprecomm’s solutions are optimized for ISPs operating in emerging markets with lower average revenue per user (ARPU), while Airties has established itself as a provider of AI-powered Connectivity Experience Management solutions for many of the world’s largest Tier-1 broadband operators.
Together, the combined company will offer a broader range of software platforms designed to improve broadband quality, reduce customer churn, lower operating costs, and create new revenue opportunities for service providers. Airties will continue offering its existing portfolio—including Airties Home, Airties Pro, and Airties Multi—while leveraging Aprecomm’s specialized offerings to better address diverse regional market requirements.
The companies also see strategic technology benefits from combining Aprecomm’s AI-native architecture, cloud-based platform, and vendor-agnostic design with Airties’ global scale and research and development capabilities. Airties said the acquisition aligns with its long-term vision of helping ISPs transition to agentic, AI-powered connected home platforms that autonomously optimize broadband performance.
The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed later in 2026.
