Alchemy Technology Group, an IT advisory, consulting, and reseller firm backed by Avance Investment Management, announced it has acquired Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), a Southern California-based provider of edge computing, cloud, and security solutions for mid- and large-enterprise clients.

The acquisition expands Alchemy Technology Group’s footprint on the West Coast and strengthens its capabilities to support enterprises that rely on secure, high-performing connectivity across data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments. ECS brings established customer relationships and specialized expertise in edge networking, network security, and managed infrastructure services, particularly in regulated and operations-intensive industries.

Through the deal, Alchemy Technology Group aims to enhance its ability to deliver integrated technology advisory and infrastructure services across a broader geographic footprint. The company has been pursuing a strategy of combining organic growth with targeted acquisitions to build a national platform capable of supporting enterprises navigating increasingly complex technology environments.

Enterprise Computing Solutions will contribute deep technical knowledge in edge infrastructure and security architecture, areas that are becoming increasingly critical as organizations scale digital operations across distributed networks. The integration also adds experienced engineering talent and long-standing enterprise relationships in Southern California.

The companies noted that enterprise IT leaders are increasingly consolidating their vendor ecosystems and seeking advisory-led partners capable of connecting architecture, operations, and risk management across cloud and security initiatives. Rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies is also placing new demands on networks and security controls, while regulatory pressures are pushing boards and executives to demand clearer visibility into cyber risk.

By combining capabilities, Alchemy Technology Group and ECS aim to provide CIOs and CISOs with a unified partner capable of designing, deploying, and operating secure and high-performance infrastructure across hybrid and distributed environments.

Alchemy Technology Group focuses on next-generation technology solutions spanning cybersecurity, digital workspace, data infrastructure, cloud computing, application development, and artificial intelligence. The company positions itself as a partner that goes beyond the traditional value-added reseller model by combining consulting, advisory, and implementation services.

Enterprise Computing Solutions specializes in helping organizations design, deploy, and manage modern infrastructure across data centers, branch networks, and cloud platforms, emphasizing practical architecture and long-term customer partnerships.

Alchemy Technology Group is a portfolio company of Avance Investment Management, a private equity firm that invests in services, technology, and consumer sectors across the United States, often partnering with founder-led businesses and management teams to accelerate growth.
