Chemelex announced a minority investment in Algo8 to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across manufacturing operations.
This investment will support Algo8’s technology development and help Chemelex improve productivity, process consistency, and product quality for customers. As part of the agreement, Chemelex CEO David Prystash will join Algo8’s Board of Advisors.
This partnership builds on an existing commercial relationship between the two companies and aligns with Chemelex’s strategy to use advanced technologies to strengthen operational performance and supply reliability across its global manufacturing footprint.
Algo8 develops Plantbrain, a proprietary AI platform that integrates data across industrial systems to generate predictive and prescriptive insights. The platform is designed to help manufacturers optimize operations, reduce downtime, and improve decision-making.
Chemelex has already deployed Algo8’s technology within its operations, using it to drive efficiency gains, enable faster data-driven decisions, and enhance supply chain reliability.
For Algo8, the investment provides both capital to accelerate product development and access to Chemelex’s global manufacturing infrastructure, supporting wider deployment of its platform in industrial environments.
