Algorized, a company building an intelligence layer for Physical AI, has closed a $13 million Series A financing to scale its Predictive Safety Engine, which it positions as an edge native “nervous system” for industrial automation. The round was led by Run Ventures, with participation from the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund and Acrobator Ventures, alongside continued backing from existing investors.
The company says the funding will accelerate the deployment of its ground-up edge AI foundation models, enabling Physical AI systems to perceive human presence, sense intent, and adapt in real time. Algorized is pitching the technology as a shift from traditional “detect and stop” approaches to machines with physical awareness that operate around people without unnecessary slowdowns.
Algorized’s technical approach focuses on leveraging existing wireless sensor infrastructure, such as Ultra Wideband, mmWave, and Wi-Fi, to digitize environments using physics rather than cameras. By analyzing micro-motions and vital signs at the edge, the company says its models can interpret human presence and intent with ultra-low latency, enabling robots to operate in occlusion, dust, and darkness while reducing stoppages.
Following its debut at CES 2026 with KUKA and ASUS, Algorized says it is now deploying with major automotive and industrial leaders in Europe and the U.S. The company plans to use the new capital to scale commercial deliveries of the Predictive Safety Engine, advance proprietary intent prediction models for human-robot collaboration, and expand engineering and support hubs in Switzerland and Silicon Valley to serve Tier 1 manufacturing partners.
KEY QUOTES:
“The biggest bottleneck in Physical AI is the latency tax. In a factory or a warehouse, a 100-millisecond delay can be the difference between a fluid workflow and a costly emergency stop. We’ve built an edge-native engine that gives machines the instinct to operate around people in real time. The goal is to ensure the line doesn’t stop because the intelligence is already there – on the floor, where it belongs.”
Natalya Lopareva, CEO & Co-Founder, Algorized
“Algorized is defining the category of Physical AI perception and predictive safety. Most safety tech is an insurance policy; Algorized is a growth asset. By enabling robots to operate at full speed in shared spaces, they unlock billions in latent capacity. It’s rare to see a deep-tech solution with this level of immediate commercial ROI.”
