Allara Raises $30 Million To Expand AI-Enabled Women’s Healthcare Platform

Allara has raised $30 million in new funding to expand its AI-enabled women’s healthcare platform, grow partnerships, and advance research focused on hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive health. The financing brings Allara’s total funding to $75 million. Five existing investors, including Index Ventures and GV, increased their commitments, while Camino Partners, Foreground Capital, and Family Fund joined as new investors.

New York-based Allara provides integrated virtual care that pairs women’s health clinicians with registered dietitians. The company said more than 120,000 women have received care through its platform.

Allara plans to use the funding across three primary areas: expanding AI-enabled clinical and administrative workflows, increasing access through healthcare and enterprise partnerships, and advancing research into women’s health conditions and life stages.

The company is extending AI throughout the patient experience, including intake, scheduling, and ongoing treatment management. Allara said its goal is to reduce administrative work for clinicians and create more personalized patient experiences while keeping healthcare providers at the center of clinical decisions. The company says patient data is encrypted and secure.

Allara has also expanded the range of treatments available through its platform. Its offerings now include GLP-1 medications paired with nutrition and lifestyle guidance, perimenopause care including hormone replacement therapy, prescription skincare and hair loss treatments, and virtual urgent care for needs including bacterial vaginosis, urinary tract infections, and STI testing.

The company cited internal patient data showing that among patients with obesity who remained in care for at least six months, 73% lost weight, 48% lost at least 5% of their body weight, and 28% lost at least 10%. Among members with irregular cycles, 69% reported improved menstrual regularity. Allara also said 89% of surveyed patients felt supported in making positive health changes, while 78% reported positive changes to their diet.

Beyond direct patient care, Allara is building a large women’s health dataset intended to support research into historically understudied conditions and life stages. The company plans to use real-world patient insights to develop and publish research involving areas including PCOS/PMOS, thyroid disorders, endometriosis, postpartum health, and perimenopause.

Allara currently provides in-network access through major insurers in most states and plans to expand relationships with employers, healthcare providers, and other organizations across the healthcare ecosystem.

KEY QUOTES:

“Women don’t avoid care because they don’t care about their health. They avoid it because they have needs that go well beyond an annual visit. We built Allara to treat women’s health as connected, because hormones, metabolism and life stage don’t work in isolation. We’ve proven that model works at scale and can be covered by insurance. AI enhanced workflows for our providers makes it far more powerful: faster for our clinicians, easier for our patients, and available to millions more women who deserve a better healthcare experience.”

Rachel Blank, Founder And CEO Of Allara
