Alliance Clinical Network and Atlas Clinical Research announced the completion of a strategic merger, creating a larger clinical research organization with nearly 50 years of combined industry experience. The partnership is designed to enhance clinical trial recruitment and execution capabilities while expanding the combined company’s geographic footprint across Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

The merger brings together complementary expertise in clinical research and strengthens therapeutic capabilities across central nervous system (CNS) disorders, internal medicine, women’s health, metabolic conditions, and dermatology. The combined organization aims to deliver improved quality, collaboration, diversity, and operational excellence for pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organization (CRO) partners.

By integrating their site networks, therapeutic expertise, and operational best practices, the companies expect to provide greater consistency, speed, and quality in clinical trial execution. The expanded platform will also improve patient recruitment efforts and increase access to diverse patient populations across multiple disease areas.

Key benefits of the merger include:

1.Expanded therapeutic expertise across CNS, dermatology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, metabolic, pain, vaccines, and women’s health.

2.Broader geographic coverage with research sites across seven states.

3.Enhanced patient recruitment capabilities and access to diverse populations.

4.Strengthened operational excellence through aligned centers of excellence and standardized best practices.

Following the transaction, the combined company will be led by Anthony Milonas as CEO and will maintain its headquarters in Southlake, Texas. The organization will continue to receive support from healthcare-focused private equity firms Amulet Capital Partners and BPOC.
