Allocate: $30.5 Million Secured For Expanding AI-Based Platform For Private Market Investing

By Amit Chowdhry • Sep 10, 2025

Allocate, a technology company focused on simplifying private market investing, has announced the close of a $30.5 million Series B funding round. This brings the company’s total capital raised to $64 million and supports its mission to modernize how wealth advisors and family offices access and manage private investments. The round was led by Portage Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, M13, and Fika Ventures.

With over $2.5 billion in assets already on its platform, Allocate plans to use the new funding to enhance its AI and workflow automation capabilities, expand integrations, and broaden its coverage beyond venture capital to include private equity and private credit.

The company’s platform is designed to help advisors build personalized portfolios more efficiently, addressing long-standing challenges in the private markets such as complexity, fragmented workflows, and administrative overhead.

Allocate offers a modular operating system built around three core products. Allocate Curations provides access to vetted private market opportunities. Allocate Fund Solutions enables the creation and management of white-label funds. Allocate Insights gives limited partners a unified view of their portfolios, regardless of asset class or source. Together, these tools streamline the investment process and improve transparency.

CEO Samir Kaji emphasized that while private markets are becoming a key driver of wealth creation, the tools available to advisors have not kept pace. Allocate aims to bring the same level of clarity and efficiency to private markets that investors expect from public markets.

Since its launch, Allocate has grown to serve over 1,200 wealth advisory firms and institutional family offices. The company has also expanded its leadership team to support its growing client base and product roadmap.

Allocate’s platform is built to help advisors and families navigate the complexities of private investing with confidence. By combining intelligent software with institutional-grade infrastructure, the company is positioning itself as a key player in the future of wealth management.

KEY QUOTES:

“Despite tremendous growth, the current tooling for private markets remains too limited to support efficient and responsible scale. Advisors and their clients face gated access, a lack of transparency, and outdated tools for building and managing portfolios. We believe better tooling is essential—unlocking more efficient capital formation for managers and more responsible investing for limited partners. Private market participation has become a critical driver of financial success, but only if done correctly. At Allocate, we are building the intelligent operating system to bring the same transparency and efficiency to private markets that investors expect from public markets.”

Samir Kaji, CEO and Founder of Allocate

“We are excited to lead this round for Allocate. They are building the modern operating system that private markets have long needed. With exceptional leadership and proven execution, Allocate is well-positioned to transform how advisors and institutional family offices engage with private investments.”

Stephanie Choo, General Partner at Portage

“Private markets are fast becoming the growth engine of global wealth, and the infrastructure to access them has never been more critical. Allocate is the platform serious investors trust to navigate this shift. From day one, we backed Samir and Hana for their institutional DNA and product precision, which is exactly what this market needed to evolve.”

Carter Reum, Co-Founder and General Partner at M13

“Private markets are becoming essential to wealth creation, but participation has long been held back by poor transparency and outdated tooling. Allocate is changing that with an intelligent operating system that makes private investing more accessible, responsible, and efficient. Just as important, they’re building the next generation of financial products designed for investors—giving advisors and families a modern way of managing their financial matters.”
