By Amit Chowdhry ● Aug 7, 2026

Allworth Financial has acquired Sachetta, a Massachusetts-based wealth and tax advisory firm with approximately $1.1 billion in assets under management. And Allworth also announced the acquisition of Arthur Stein Financial, a Bethesda, Maryland-based registered investment advisor specializing in comprehensive financial planning for federal employees and retirees.

The acquisition adds 21 professionals, including 13 wealth and tax advisors, and approximately 630 client households to Allworth’s platform while expanding its presence in the Greater Boston market.

Sachetta operates an integrated wealth management and tax advisory model in which tax planning is incorporated into client relationships.

The firm also has specialized experience advising business owners and has established a next-generation leadership team and succession plan.

Sachetta clients will gain access to Allworth’s broader investment capabilities, estate planning resources, private markets offerings, digital tools and operational support while continuing to work with their existing advisors.

The acquisition is among Allworth’s first since entering a new investment partnership with Integrum Holdings, Lightyear Capital and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in April 2026.

The transaction expands Allworth’s Mid-Atlantic presence and adds a specialized advisory practice focused on a defined customer segment.

Houlihan Lokey represented Sachetta in the transaction.

Allworth has approximately $39 billion in assets under management and administration, operates more than 40 offices nationwide and has completed over 45 acquisitions since 2018.
