AlphaPai Raises $50 Million Series B To Expand Investment Research Workflows

AlphaPai, an AI investment research assistant developed by financial AI company Rabyte Technology, has raised $50 million in Series B funding, marking its third consecutive financing round in the past year.

The round included strategic investors from across the financial sector, including China Insurance Investment and GF Xinde Investment Management, along with Qiming Venture Partners, Ambrum Capital, Next Capital, Trustar Capital, Eastern Bell Capital and existing shareholders. China Renaissance served as exclusive financial advisor.

AlphaPai plans to use the proceeds to increase R&D investment in models and products, expand its multi-asset customer base, deepen collaborations throughout the financial industry and continue expanding internationally.

The company has grown from an AI tool focused on meetings and information processing into a broader platform for institutional investment research, analysis and knowledge management. AlphaPai now serves more than 120,000 professional users across over 8,000 financial institutions and asset managers.

In April 2026, AlphaPai introduced PaiWork, an AI-powered investment research workstation combining financial data, research tools, productivity applications and institutional knowledge bases in a unified environment. Since launch, AI interactions and token consumption through PaiWork have increased by tens of times, according to the company.

AlphaPai followed that launch in June with iRaB, an Investment Research Agent Benchmark designed to evaluate AI on real professional investment research tasks, and the ORE Investment Research Partner Program. ORE now includes more than 40 brokerage research institutes, data providers, and other industry participants.

The company is also moving deeper into multi-asset institutional workflows. China Insurance Investment’s participation is expected to support AlphaPai’s expansion into insurance research and asset allocation, where investment processes can span equities, fixed income and alternative assets.

KEY QUOTES:

“In real-world production environments, AI resembles high-end manufacturing: a systematic engineering endeavor requiring long-term accumulation. The competitiveness of future companies lies entirely beneath the surface. It comes from the compounding effect of many incremental 5% gains, which ultimately forms a systematic advantage that is difficult to replicate.”

“The value of financial AI is not confined to the financial industry itself. It is infrastructure with a multiplier effect: a connector between capital and the real economy. Gains in financial productivity ultimately flow into better resource allocation and industrial development.”
