AlTi Tiedemann Global has appointed Cesar Pachon as Managing Director and head of its Miami office as the wealth manager expands its presence in South Florida. Pachon has more than 20 years of experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and entrepreneurs. His background includes helping internationally connected families manage assets and financial interests across multiple jurisdictions.
He was previously a founding partner of a multifamily office and began his career in investment banking before moving into wealth management.
Pachon will work with Jim Bertles, AlTi’s Co-Head of U.S. Wealth Planning, who is based in Palm Beach. He will focus on growing the company’s Miami operations and serving international families holding assets in the United States.
His appointment also builds on AlTi’s offshore wealth capabilities led by Ricardo de la Serna and Jose Remy.
AlTi identified Miami as a strategically important wealth management market because of its growing population of entrepreneurs, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth residents.
The company also cited Miami’s financial services sector and migration from New York, California and Latin America as factors supporting the region’s growth.
AlTi provides investment management, wealth planning and family office services to families, foundations and institutions. The company manages or advises on approximately $90 billion in combined assets and employs around 490 professionals globally.
The firm plans to use Pachon’s local relationships and experience advising cross-border families to expand its domestic and international client base in South Florida.
