Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has appointed Arpito Mukerji as Managing Director in its Financial Advisory and Special Situations practice, where he will focus on developing the Debt Financing vertical.
Mukerji brings over 30 years of experience in private credit, banking, and real estate. His expertise includes value-driven and distressed investing, having collaborated with capital providers and Indian corporations on high-impact investments.
A&M’s advisory services play a vital role in addressing capital dislocations in real estate, infrastructure, and renewable energy. In India, $7 to $8 billion in private credit has been deployed annually over the past two years across more than 200 deals.
Before A&M, Mukerji was a Managing Director and founding member of Apollo Global Management’s Asia Real Estate Group, and has held significant positions at firms such as Rezone Investment Advisors and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
