Alvarez & Marsal announced the launch of A&M Private Wealth Partners, a registered investment advisor established as an independent affiliate of the global professional services firm. The new entity is designed to provide comprehensive family office services to entrepreneurs, multi-generational families and financial sponsor principals, aligning with the firm’s legacy as trusted advisors focused on value preservation and creation for complex businesses.
The firm said the RIA market remains crowded, but believes there is an opportunity to better serve ultra-high-net-worth clients whose financial needs are increasingly complex. A&M Private Wealth Partners will operate with a fiduciary-first model and aims to deliver integrated wealth planning and investment management services tailored to clients with significant and multifaceted holdings.
The founding team includes industry veterans from wealth management, consulting and legal backgrounds. Peter Sacripanti, JD, former Chairman of McDermott Will & Emery, will serve as Chairman. Michael Calkin, with two decades advising ultra-high-net-worth clients at JP Morgan and Citi Private Bank, will serve as Practice Lead. Jonathan Fitzgerald, JD, CPA/PFS, former Head of Domestic Wealth Planning for North America at Citi Private Bank, will lead the wealth planning division. Michael Murgio, CFA, previously Chief Investment Officer at Greenway Wealth Management, will serve as Chief Investment Officer. Takuya Kisaka, former Global Head of Fixed Income for Citi Investment Management, will lead fixed income. John Ralls, formerly of Fidelity Family Office Services, will oversee business development, and Joseph Berardino, former CEO of Andersen Worldwide, will serve as Senior Advisor.
The firm launches with a team of 20 members, including seven partners, and will be headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, with additional offices in New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles. The company said it intends to position itself as a leader in wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth clients, emphasizing wealth preservation across generations and access to the broader resources of the Alvarez & Marsal affiliate network.
