- Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) announced new Echos, Fire TV sticks, Ring devices, and eero 6 mesh routers along with the Luna cloud gaming service
Today Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) announced a number of new devices along with a new cloud gaming service. These are some of the highlights:
Luna Cloud Gaming Service
The Luna cloud gaming service will enable gameplay over the cloud through Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Fire TV.
And the Luna gaming service will include several channels such as the Ubisoft and the Luna+ channel. The Luna+ channel will be available for $5.99 per month during early access, which includes unlimited hours of play, a growing library of games, up to 1080p/60fps (4K coming soon), and the ability to stream on 2 devices at a time.
To play the games, Amazon built a new controller that connects to the cloud.
New Line Of Echos
Amazon unveiled a new version of the Echo and Echo Dot. The new devices feature a spherical shape. The Echo will be available in dark gray and light gray.
The new Echo will have several of the same features included in the Echo Plus. And the new Echo features Dolby stereo sound and several smart hub features.
One of the highlights is a new Echo Show with a 13-megapixel camera that can follow your motion in order to keep you centered during video calls.

New Fire TV Sticks

New Ring Devices
Amazon subsidiary Ring also announced a new line of devices. This includes a new car alarm, a new home camera with an autonomously flying indoor camera, a mailbox sensor.
Ring Car Alarm
The Ring Car Alarm is a low-cost discreet wireless device that plugs into 99% of cars on the road in the U.S. The Ring Car Alarm senses bumps, break-ins, tow-aways, etc. and it sends you alerts accordingly. Through an app, you can also activate the siren or see the car’s last-known location.
You can use Ring Car Connect to tap into your car’s built-in cameras to get alerts and watch a recorded video in the Ring App. The first compatible cars are Tesla models 3, S, X, and Y. And you can watch Tesla Sentry Mode and recorded driving footage over Wi-Fi or from anywhere with an optional LTE connectivity plan.
There is a Traffic Stop feature that lets you simply say “Alexa, I’m being pulled over” to record the interaction and save it to the cloud with an optional connectivity plan.
And while on the road, you can use the Ring Car Cam’s Emergency Crash Assist feature, which requests help from emergency services at the car’s location in a serious crash even when you cannot make it yourself.

Ring Mailbox Sensor
The Ring Mailbox Sensor is a device that can be installed into your mailbox for receiving alerts via the Ring app or Alexa-enabled devices anytime the mailbox is opened. This could be especially useful for when you are expecting an important letter or package:
