By Amit Chowdhry • Apr 3, 2026

AMBA announced it has acquired the affinity business and business process outsourcing operations of Amwins Group Benefits, LLC, expanding its national platform and administrative capabilities.

The acquired operations include long-standing association partnerships and carrier-supported administrative infrastructure. These services support employer-sponsored life and disability programs, including port and conversion offerings, which are key components of the insurance lifecycle.

The transaction strengthens AMBA’s ability to deliver end-to-end affinity insurance program management. It also broadens the company’s reach across professional and membership-based markets while adding infrastructure for outsourced carrier administration.

AMBA plans to standardize the operating model of the acquired business to improve scalability and service delivery, while maintaining continuity for association partners, insurance carriers, and members.

The deal aligns with AMBA’s broader strategy of expanding its national footprint through targeted acquisitions that deepen carrier relationships and enhance association partnerships. The company continues to focus on providing insurance and benefit solutions across public employee, alumni, military, and professional segments.
