Ambienta expanded its senior leadership, investment, portfolio operations, investor relations, and corporate functions with 23 appointments over the past year as the European investment manager continues scaling its platform.
The additions have taken Ambienta to more than 120 employees and are designed to deepen sector expertise, strengthen portfolio operations, and expand local coverage across the firm’s core European markets.
Ambienta said the expanded team will enhance its ability to source and execute investments while providing additional support to portfolio companies. The firm’s senior-level expansion includes three new Partners across Milan and London.
A major focus of the hiring program is the continued development of Ambienta’s portfolio operations capabilities.
Jérôme Losson joined as Partner and Head of Portfolio Operations in Milan and will lead the portfolio operations platform across all of Ambienta’s strategies.
Losson brings more than 30 years of experience spanning consulting, direct management, and private equity, with expertise across value creation, operational transformation, digital initiatives, artificial intelligence enablement, and cybersecurity.
He previously helped establish KKR Capstone in Europe, serving as a member of its leadership team for nearly a decade.
At Ambienta, Losson will work with investment teams and portfolio company management to improve performance, accelerate growth initiatives, and expand the use of operational best practices. He will also lead the firm’s own digitalization efforts, including technology and AI enablement.
Dina Dede joined the London office as Director of AI & Data within the Portfolio Operations team. She previously worked at Microsoft, where she most recently led AI initiatives within the Microsoft-LSEG strategic partnership.
Dede will work alongside Losson to expand the use of AI and data capabilities across Ambienta’s portfolio companies and within the investment firm itself.
Ambienta also expanded the senior ranks of its London Private Equity team with two Partners focused on complementary investment areas.
Karthik Achar joined as Partner from Stellex Capital Management. Achar was a founding partner at Stellex and established its European office in 2014. He brings more than two decades of industrial investing experience, including work involving Officine Maccaferri, David Brown Santasalo, and the carve-out of Dürr Clean Technology Systems.
Richa Sirohi joined Ambienta as Partner from CPP Investments, where she was a Managing Director responsible for European technology investments. Her investments included Octopus Energy, team.blue, Visma, and Regnology.
Sirohi will lead Ambienta’s digital technologies investing across the European mid-market, with a particular focus on opportunities at the intersection of technology and sustainability.
Investor Relations has also been expanded to support Ambienta’s growing global investor base.
Adam Aziz joined the London office as Principal and Head of Project Management and Investor Servicing. He previously worked at UBS, where he most recently served as Global Head of Capability Specialists for the firm’s Real Estate & Private Markets platform.
Ambienta also added dedicated investment professionals across its private equity strategies and European offices.

The announcement states that Ambienta made 23 appointments during the period, although 16 of those new hires are individually identified by name.
Alessandro Ancora joined Ambienta’s mid-cap strategy from White Bridge Investments, while Romain Azoulai joined the firm’s small-cap strategy in Paris after nine years at Carlyle.
Andrea Valdesalici joined the Milan office from Bregal as Investment Manager, while Johannes Grimm and Riccardo Abate joined as Associates in Munich and Paris, respectively.
Ambienta also continued expanding the team responsible for integrating sustainability considerations into its investment strategy.
Giuseppe Ruggiero joined the Sustainability & Strategy function as an Associate.
Alessandro Sbrizzai and Elettra Pogliaghi became Analysts within the ESG team after previously completing internships at Ambienta, reflecting the firm’s effort to develop talent internally.
Ambienta’s corporate infrastructure is expanding alongside its investment operations.
Sébastien Couppey was appointed IT Director in Milan, bringing more than 25 years of international information technology experience.
Francesca Bua and Giorgia Burgarella joined the human resources function as HRBP Managers from Citibank and PwC, respectively.
Ambienta said the broader organizational structure is designed around dedicated teams for individual investment strategies, deeper local market coverage, and senior leadership capable of building new operational and investment capabilities.
The firm is also investing in employee onboarding, integration, and professional development programs across its offices.
Ambienta was founded in 2007 and manages more than €4.5 billion in assets across private equity, public markets, and private credit.
