Ambrook has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Lachy Groom to expand its financial platform for small and family-run businesses. Cameron Ventures also invested in the company as part of its backing of Ambrook’s mission to modernize financial infrastructure for American entrepreneurs.
Ambrook is building a unified system that combines bookkeeping, payments and real-time financial insights for small businesses.
The company is particularly focused on businesses that have historically relied on fragmented financial tools despite playing a central role in local communities and the broader U.S. economy.
Ambrook’s platform is designed to give entrepreneurs a more complete understanding of their operations by connecting financial workflows within a single system.
The company believes small businesses have often been underserved by financial technology compared with larger enterprises, which typically have access to more sophisticated accounting, payments and financial management systems.
Ambrook is seeking to close that gap with products tailored to the needs of owner-operated and family-run companies.
The Series B provides additional capital for Ambrook to continue developing its platform and supporting the entrepreneurs and businesses using its products.
Ambrook is led by CEO and Co-Founder Mackenzie Burnett alongside Co-Founders Dan Schlosser and Jeff Anders.
Cameron Ventures investor Brian Gong said the firm backed Ambrook because of its approach to building modern financial tools for small businesses and its focus on the ambitions of the entrepreneurs operating them.
Ambrook described the new financing as an opportunity to invest further in the businesses it serves, particularly entrepreneurs who are building new companies, maintaining multigenerational businesses or balancing both.
KEY QUOTES:
“Our customers bet on themselves, so we bet on them. A resilient America is built by those who risk to build something new, or steward something old, or sometimes both. To better their families, their communities, and the land around them.”

“Ambrook is building financial tools worthy of the future of American entrepreneurship: modern bookkeeping, payments, and real-time insights built into a single system that understands their businesses and the ambitions of the entrepreneurs who run them.”
