Ambrose, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager, has partnered with the PREA Foundation to launch the Ambrose x PREA Foundation Opportunity Scholarship Program, a five-year initiative designed to support the next generation of commercial real estate professionals. The program will fund 50 internship scholarships annually through 2030, backed by a $1 million commitment from Ambrose.
The initiative is open to undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds and is aimed at reducing financial barriers that can limit access to careers in commercial real estate and finance. Eligible students must have secured an internship through a PREA Foundation-funded program and demonstrate financial need. The inaugural class of scholars is expected to be announced in spring 2026.
The scholarship program is structured to provide students with hands-on experience, industry exposure, and foundational knowledge critical for long-term career development. It also reflects a broader effort to expand access and diversity within an industry historically associated with high barriers to entry.
The PREA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Pension Real Estate Association, focuses on creating pathways for emerging talent by funding programs that deliver skills, experience, and career opportunities across the institutional real estate investment ecosystem. The organization represents a global network of more than 700 member firms, including pension funds, endowments, insurance companies, and real estate operators.
Ambrose, founded in 2008 and headquartered in Indianapolis, specializes in the acquisition, development, and operation of industrial, logistics, and e-commerce real estate across the United States. The firm emphasized that the scholarship initiative aligns with its broader goal of cultivating future industry leaders and strengthening the talent pipeline.
